Larry has spent over three decades dedicating his life to emergency management. In addition to serving as a Law Enforcement Emergency Management Coordinator, he has served as a Emergency Medical Services ChiefDepartment Lieutenant and Board Member.

As a liaison and consultant to numerous school districts, Larry has helped to develop Strategic Emergency Response Plans, Lockdown / Lockout Plans and Drills, Emergency Evacuation Plans and Drills and successfully helped to establish countless numbers of Emergency Response Teams (ERT) at both the district and school level.

Larry maintains and impressive resume of training and credentials. As a certified NIMS (National Incident Management System) Instructor, Larry is trained to ICS (Incident Command System) level-400 and has taught ICS to hundreds of educators, emergency service workers and government leaders. He has studied at institutions and government entities around the nation.

Managing Partner – John LaPlaca

John has over two decades of emergency services and law enforcement management experience.  John serves as the  firms operations manager and works closely with clients during the assessment and planning phases of the firm’s emergency management program.  John also works to facilitate collaboration with emergency responders to ensure seamless integration and successful response in a crisis.

John’s “School Branding” program promises to revolutionize school climates and cultures around the nation. Bringing together principles of violence prevention, marketing and public relations, schools are able to  greatly increase student and staff buy-in, while achieving dramatic levels of community confidence in school leaders.

John is a prolific speaker and trainer delivering keynote speeches and staff development programs for clients. His passion for developing safe school environments is readily evident during client engagements.
